Kochi: The Veterinary Council of India has invited applications for All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT) - 2016 for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H Course for filling up 15% of All India Quota seats in the Veterinary Colleges in India (except from Jammu & Kashmir State) for the academic session 2016-17. The Counselling for 15% of All India Quota seats in the Veterinary Colleges shall be conducted by the Veterinary Council of India. The Counselling for admission in seats under the control of participating States (other than 15% All India Quota) shall be conducted as per the notifications issued seperately by the respective States.
Eligibility
Applicants seeking for AIPVT 2016 must have qualified 12th class or equivalent examination from any recognized institute or university of state /central.
Applicants should have passed the required examination with minimum of 50% marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English. 40% for candidates belonging to reserve category i.e. SC/ST/OBC
Applicants pursuing for 12th examinations 2016 from the science discipline can also apply for the AIPVT entrance test 2016.
Applicant must be an Indian citizen except of the state of Jammu & Kashmir
Age Limit for AIPVT 2016:
The Interested candidate should have completed 17 years of age and the age should not be exceeded than 25 years as on 31st December of 2016. The candidate belonging to reserve category will get age relaxation of 5 years i.e. for the ST/ SC/ OBC the maximum age limit will be 30 years.

Fee details
FOR GENERAL/OBC Rs 1500/- Rs 1500/- + Rs 750/- as late fee
FOR SC/ST/PH Rs 750/- Rs 750/- + Rs 750/- as late fee
The fee can be remitted in the following ways:
Through any Debit/Credit Card and Net Banking using on-line payment gateway facility in Vijaya Bank.
Through Debit/Credit Card/ Net Banking/ E-challan using SB Collect facility in State Bank of India.
