For those who are excited about joining the defence forces, here is an excellent chance!. India Army will release a notification for TES (Technical Entry Scheme examination) -46 Course for the year 2021 in the month of May-June. 

Those candidates who have passed their class 12th exams with a minimum of 70 % in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) subjects are eligible to apply for the TES vacancies in the Indian Army. 


Age Limit: Also, note that the aspirant's age must not be below 16.5 years and above 19.5 years of age.

 

Selection Process: The candidates are selected based on shortlisting of application, SSB Interview, and Medical exam.


On successful completion of 4 years of the course, Cadet will be granted Permanent Commission in the Army in the rank of Lt.


  1. Training. Comprehensive training will be for five years. Details are as under:


(a) Basic Military Training. 1 year (Officer Training Academy, Gaya).



(b) Technical Training. 

    • (i) Phase- I (Pre Commission Training): 3 Years (CME Pune or MCTE Mhow or NCEME Secunderabad), 
    • (ii) Phase-II (Post Commission Training): 1 year at CME Pune or MCTE Mhow or MCEME Secunderabad.


(c) Award of Degree. The candidates will be awarded an Engineering degree after successful completion of the final examination. No ante date will be admissible to candidates on account of this Engineering degree. During the last two semesters, the officers will be permitted only one relegation on academic grounds. This relegation will be within the maximum of two relegations permitted on academic grounds in the entire Engineering degree (8 semesters) in accordance with JNU Ordinance. Any further relegation of the officer on academic grounds will lead to the termination of his commission. (This information collected on the base of TES - 45).

The Union Public Service Commission conducts a national competitive examination in India to recruit various civil services of the Indian government, including the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, and Indian Police Service. So, this is a golden opportunity for those who have civil service aspirant. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the civil service prelims exam (CSE) 2021. You can apply Online by using the website https://upsconline.nic.in. Detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the website, as mentioned above. The candidates declared by the Commission to have qualified for admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination will have to apply online again. The number of vacancies to be filled through the examination is approximately 712, including 22 vacancies reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability Category. 


The online Applications can be filled up to 24th March, 2021 till 6:00 PM. The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admit Card will be made available on the UPSC website for downloading by candidates. You should note down the UPSC mentioned: "No Admit Card will be sent by post". 


The Civil Services Examination will consist of two successive stages (i) Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective type) for the selection of candidates for the Main Examination; and (ii) Civil Services (Main) Examination (Written and Interview) for the selection of candidates for the various Services. The prelims will be held on June 27.

The pattern of the preliminary examination shall comprise of two compulsory Papers of 200 marks each. Both the question papers will be of the objective type (multiple choice questions), and each will be of two hours duration. The General Studies Paper-II of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination will be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%. And The question papers will be set both in Hindi and English. Candidates should note that there will be a penalty (negative marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers. 


Age Limits:

The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have reached 32 years on the 1st of August, 2021. The upper age-limit prescribed above will be relaxable for a maximum of five years for SC & ST, ex-servicemen, three years for OBC and ten years for PwBD.


Minimum Educational Qualification: 

The candidate must hold a degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification and also who intend to appear at such a qualifying examination will also be eligible for admission to the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination. 


Number of Attempts:

Every candidate appearing at the otherwise eligible examination shall be permitted six (6) attempts, 09 for GL/EWS/OBC Unlimited for SC/ST at the CSE.


Fee for Exam

Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay Rs fee. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) either by remitting the money in any Branch of State Bank of India or using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card or using Internet Banking of SBI.

Eligibility Criteria


Indian Nationals securing at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST/PwD) in 

(i) B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT / B.Voc. (Computer Science/ Computer Applications)/ BBA (Computer Applications) of minimum three years full-time programme from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects 

OR (ii) B.E./ B.Tech. from a recognized University.


Test Pattern


NIMCET-2021 test will be conducted with only one question paper containing 120 multiple choice questions

covering the following subjects. Multiple Choice Questions will be written in English Language only and will

not be translated into any other language.

1. Mathematics: 50 Questions

2. Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning: 40 questions

3. Computer Awareness: 10 questions

4. General English: 20 questions

Each correctly answered question will carry FOUR marks and each wrongly answered question will lead to NEGATIVE ONE mark


Duration of the MCA programme.


NIT Patna is two years.

NIT Warangal offers a three-year but with an option for the students to exit at the end of successful two years, and the title of such exit would be Post -Graduate Advanced Diploma in Computer Applications. 

The remaining NITs is three years.
