UG Admission at Delhi University

Kochi, June 06, 2015: University of Delhi has invited applications for admission to Undergraduate Programmes of Academic Year 2015-16.


Undergraduate courses are offered by the University through its affiliated colleges in three major streams of studies namely Arts / Humanities, Mathematical Sciences and Sciences. The same are summarized below:

1. Arts / Humanities
a. Bachelor of Arts
b. Bachelor of Arts [Vocational]
c. Bachelor of Arts [Honours]

2. Commerce
a. Bachelor of Commerce
b. Bachelor of Commerce [Honours]

3. Mathematical Sciences
a. Bachelor of Science - Mathematical Sciences
b. Bachelor of Science [Honours] - Mathematics
c. Bachelor of Science [Honours] - Statistics
d. Bachelor of Science [Honours] - Computer Science

4. Sciences

Requirements for Admission
Qualifying Examinations:
Qualifying examinations for the purpose of admission to the first year of undergraduate courses offered by the University shall be Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto. Candidate seeking admission to the courses offered by the University should have passed the qualifying examination obtaining minimum marks as specified for each of the courses in subsequent sections.

Age Requirement
  • There is no minimum age bar for admission to undergraduate courses in the University / colleges except in professional courses where regulatory body prescribes minimum age requirement (such as MCI, AICTE etc.) 
  • Gap year(s) would be no bar for purposes of admission to the undergraduate courses.
The candidates who wish to be considered for admission to various Under-Graduate courses in different colleges of the university, for which there is no entrance exam, are required to register either online at www.du.ac.in or offline by completing OMR forms available and to be submitted at following Admission Information Centers in Delhi.
