Applications
are invited for the one post of Research Analyst on contract in the
PB-2: Rs.9,300-34,800 AGP Rs.4,600 plus usual allowances admissible from
time to time for a period of one year in the FASAL Project of the
Institute. The tenure may be extended depending on performance and

Minimum Qualifications: The candidate should have a good academic record, with at least a second class Master’s degree in Statistics or Quantitative Economics and at least three years experience in data collection and analysis related to agriculture and rural development. A good knowledge of computer software and econometric packages like EVIEWS, STATA and SPSS is also essential.
Desirable qualification: M.Phil in Agricultural Economics and publications.
The Institute reserves the right not to fill up the above position, if circumstances so warrant. Currently employed candidates should apply through proper channel. Other things being equal, SC/ST/OBC candidates will be preferred.
