North Orissa University invites Applications for admission into one year M.Phil. Course(Semester pattern) in the following subjects for the academic session 2013-14

Self Financing Courses (SFC): Anthropology and Tribal Studies, Commerce, English, Education, Political Science, History, Odia
Seats: 10 seats in each subject
Eligibility:
Master’s Degree in the concerned subject form any recognized University with at least 48% of marks or equivalent grade

However, Master’s in Tribal Studies/ Anthropology can apply for Anthropology and Tribal Studies. In service candidates are required to apply through proper channel
Reservation: Reservation of seats will be as per Govt. norms

Application form and information brochure can be obtained from the Office of the Chairman, P.G. Council on payment of Rs.500/- by hand or on payment of Rs.550/- by post

The application form can also be downloaded from the University website www.nou.nic.in and be submitted to the University with a bank draft of Rs.500/-
All amounts shall be paid through A/c payee Bank Draft in favour of the Comptroller of Finance, North Orissa University, payable at Baripada

Sale of application form will start from 06th Nov, 2013
The last date of sale and submission of application form is 03rd Dec, 2013
Entrance test date: 06th Dec, 2013 (11.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m.)
Interview on: 06th Dec, 2013 at 02.00 p.m.
Venue: Academic Blocks- 3, 4, 5 & 6
NB: Separate Admit Card will not be sent for the entrance test
