B.Tech, M.Tech, Ph.D & Ph.D Admission-2013
Invites applications for the academic year 2013-14 for regular full-time degree programs (Affiliated with TNAU)
Undergraduate B.Tech (Food Process Engineering)
Duration: 4 years (8 Semesters program)
Eligibility: Pass +2 or equivalent examination with major subjects Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with 55 % marks in each subject for OC, 50 % marks in each subject for OBC and mere pass for SC/ST

Age limit: The upper age limit is 21 years as on 31st December 2013
The upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled ST/SC and 3years for other backward classes
Selection Criteria:
Selection is purely based on merit basis ranking order only
Ranking will be done based on aggregate marks of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and IICPTEE marks
Aggregate marks are calculated for 200 marks: 50 percent for Mathematics and 50 percent for Physics and Chemistry

Tech degree with minimum 70% marks in any of the following discipline like Food Process Engineering, Agricultural Process Engineering, Post Harvest Technology, Agricultural Engineering, and Food Science and Technology with proven knowledge in mathematics (compulsory)

Eligibility: Should have passed a 4 year Bachelor’s degree with minimum 70% marks in any of the following discipline like Food Technology, Home Science, Food Science and Nutrition, Food Science and Quality Control, Food process Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Food Processing Technology, Post harvest technology

Doctoral Program-Ph. D (Food Process Engineering)
Duration: Three years/ 6 semester program
Eligibility: Should have passed a four year Bachelor’s and a 2 year Master’s degree with minimum 70% marks in any of the following discipline like Food Process Engineering, Agricultural Process Engineering, Post Harvest Technology, and Food Science and Technology with proven knowledge in mathematics (compulsory)
Selection Criteria:
Selection is based purely merit basis ranking order only
Ranking will be done based on postgraduate overall marks and oral examination marks conducted by IICPT

Reservation policy: OBC - 27 %, Sc -15%, ST- 7.5 %
IICPTEE Centres: New Delhi, Pune, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Bangaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Thanjavur, Thrissur, Bhopal, Anand and Jaipur
Eligibility: A candidate who has undergone courses credit system with a minimum OGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or 7.00 out of 10.00 or 70% aggregate alone is eligible to apply for Master’s and Ph.D programs

Application Form: The soft copy of application form and prospectus can be downloaded from website www.iicpt.edu.in
Hard copy application forms can be obtained from IICPT office at Thanjavur from 09th May, 2013 onwards during all working days between 09.30 a.m. to 05.30 p.m. by paying appropriate application fee
Filled in application forms with appropriate application fee (for downloaded applications) should be submitted to the Director, Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology by 10th June, 2013 05.00 p.m

Application fee is Rs 500/- for OC/OBC and Rs 250/- for SC/ST candidates
