Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) 2017 will be conducted by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) from May 16 to 30. BITSAT 2017 will be conducted for admissions to Integrated First Degree Programmes of Engineering at the institute's three campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. The application Form of BITSAT 2017 is now available, from December 29, 2016. Candidates can fill the application form along with fee payment till March 6, 2017. From May 16 to 30, the exam will be conducted in two slots daily, wherein the first slot will be from 9 am to 12 pm and the second slot will be from 2 pm to 5 pm. Candidates can opt for any one slot out of the two based on the availability. BITS has also released the mock test for all applicants. The 30 minutes long mock test of BITSAT 2017 is now available and the applicants can download and attempt it to get a better idea about the exam pattern and questions of the entrance examination.

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2017

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2017 specifies about the eligible conditions, which need to be fulfilled by the aspiring candidates in order to be eligible for the entrance exam. The eligibility criteria of BITSAT 2017 include factors like age, qualifying marks and qualifying exam, number of attempts, etc.

BITSAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should have passed class 12 or equivalent exam (from any state or central board of school education) with 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. They also need to have secured 60% marks separately in each of the three subjects. Proficiency in English is another requirement for appearing in BITSAT 2017.
Only those candidates, who are appearing in class 12th in the year 2017 or have cleared 12th in 2016, are eligible for BITSAT 2017.
Top rankers or candidates with Rank 1 in the central or state boards in India will be offered admissions to the programmes of their choice, irrespective of their score/rank in BITSAT 2017, but must meet the aforesaid eligibility criteria.

BITSAT Application Form 2017

BITSAT Application Form 2017 is available from December 29, 2016 to March 6, 2017 in online mode. Candidates have to register themselves, fill the application form and pay the prescribed application fee of BITSAT 2017. Candidates are advised to keep a printout of the filled in application form for all future references.

In case, any candidate has submitted BITSAT 2017 application form with incorrect details or having some mistakes, then such candidates can edit or make changes in their submitted application form from March 7 to 10.

BITSAT 2017 application fee: Rs.2700 for male candidates

BITSAT 2017 application fee: Rs.2250 for female candidates

BITSAT 2017 application fee: US $60 (Rs. 4000) for both male and female candidates who have opted for Dubai as test centre

BITSAT Slot Booking 2017

BITSAT Slot Booking 2017 will be available from March 20 to April 5, after the application form process gets over. The slot booking of BITSAT involves selecting/choosing time and date and exam centre on which the candidate is convenient to appear in BITSAT 2017. BITSAT 2017 slot booking will be determined by the availability of the slots for the entrance exam as per the schedule and will be done on first come first serve basis. After BITSAT 2017 slot booking, the candidates will be able to download their admit cards for the entrance exam.

BITSAT Mock Test 2017

The mock test of BITSAT 2017 is now available for all candidates who will be participating in the entrance examination. The candidates will have to download and execute the file to access the mock test. Compared to the 3-hour long entrance examination, the mock test of BITSAT 2017 will be only 30 minutes long. Divided into four sections - Physics, Chemistry, English and Logical Reasoning and Mathematics, the candidates will have to select which section they want to attempt first and go on to answer the multiple choice questions. Options of skipping to other parts, marking for review, going to the next questions and completing the test will be provided. The test scores will be generated after the candidates select the completed button. The mock test of BITSAT 2017 can be used in the preparation for the examination.

BITSAT Exam Pattern 2017

BITSAT Exam Pattern 2017 – The exam pattern of BITSAT 2017 specifies about various aspects of the entrance exam like marking scheme, type of questions, time duration, total number of questions, subjects, sections, etc.

Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will be awarded 3 marks, while every incorrect answer will fetch -1 mark or 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. For unattempted questions, the examinees will be given no marks or zero marks.

Note: In case the candidates answer all 150 questions within the given time of 3 hours (without skipping any question) can attempt an additional 12 questions (four each from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry only).

BITSAT Admit Card 2017

BITSAT Admit Card 2017 will be made available for those candidates who have booked their slots for the entrance exam as per the schedule and available slots in any exam centre. Such candidates have to download their admit card of BITSAT 2017, which will be available from April 15 to May 10, 2017. Candidates are advised to preserve the admit card of BITSAT 2017 till the time the admission process gets over. Without BITSAT 2017 admit card, no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre.

BITSAT Result 2017

BITSAT Result 2017 will be announced online from July 1, 2017 onwards. BITS University will announce BITSAT result 2017 for different iterations – Iteration I, II, III, IV and V on different dates. The result of BITSAT 2017 will be announced just after the completion of the online entrance exam. Through BITSAT 2017 result, the candidates can check their correct and incorrect answers with score. They can also check and print their BITSAT 2017 score report after the completion of the test.

BITSAT Answer Key 2017

The Answer Key of BITSAT 2017 will help examinees in cross-checking their answers (which they have marked in the test) from the correct answers in the answer key of BITSAT 2017 and estimate their probable score in the engineering entrance exam. BITSAT answer key 2017 is a document that carries all the correct answers to the questions that appeared in BITSAT 2017. Candidates can calculate their scores by using BITSAT 2017 answer key and know their chance of admissions to the preferred engineering programmes at any of the campuses - BITS Pilani, BITS Goa and BITS Hyderabad.

BITSAT Counselling & Seat Allotment 2017

BITSAT 2017 Counselling will be conducted after the declaration of BITSAT 2017 result. For participating in the counselling procedure for admissions to over 2,000 seats in Integrated First Degree Programmes of Engineering and B.E. (Honours) programmes, the candidates have to register and fill up application form. They need to apply for admissions by filling up the application form along with 12th marks and preferences of degree programmes and institute. Counselling of BITSAT 2017 will be held simultaneously for BITS Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses. Topper candidates from central or state boards have to apply separately for admission under "Direct admission to board Toppers".

BITSAT Cutoff 2017

BITSAT 2017 Cutoff is the minimum score that the examinees if BITSAT 2017 have to secure in order to become eligible for participating in BITSAT 2017 counselling. The university prepares a merit list of candidates basis BITSAT Cutoff 2017 for shortlisting candidates for counselling of BITSAT 2017.
