About one lakh fewer students have registered for JEE Main 2016, as compared to the total number of registered students for JEE Main in 2015. According to the official data, in 2015, 13.03 lakh aspirants had applied for JEE Main 2015, while the total number of registrations for JEE Main 2016 is 12.07 lakh. This means that there has been a fall of around one lakh applicants this year for JEE Main.
With this decline JEE Main applications have been witnessing a dip since 2015, where the total number of registrations plunged by 50,000 (with 13.03 students applying for JEE Main) in comparison to 2014, where 13.56 lakh applicants had registered for JEE Main.

JEE Main 2020 Application Form has been re-opened now. CBSE 10th Time Table 2020 will be released soon and exam will be started from 03 March 2020.
