CIP PG Entrance Examination 2014

PG Entrance Examination 2014 will be conducted on Sunday 16th February 2014 at CIP RANCHI for Taking Admission in Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, M.PHIL in Clinical Psychology, M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work and Interview for Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing Course 

Eligibility: 

Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology: 4 seats- (No Reservation)

Duration: 3 years for M.A. /M.Sc. (Psychology) degree holders and 2 years after M.Phil in Medical & Social Psychology/ Clinical Psychology

Qualification: First Class Master’s degree in Psychology regular course Or M.Phil in Medical & Social Psychology/ Clinical Psychology of any recognized University, for 3 years and 2 years course respectively.

M.Phil in Clinical Psychology: 18 seats (UR-9, OBC-5, SC-3, ST-1) (01-PH)

Duration: 2 years

Qualification: M.A. /M.Sc. in Psychology regular course of a recognized University with minimum 55% marks for UR and 50% marks for SC, ST and OBC in the aggregate

M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work: 12 seats (UR-6, OBC-3, SC-2, ST-1)

Duration: 2 years

Qualification: M.A. in Sociology or Master in Social Work regular course of a recognized University with minimum 55% marks for UR and 50% marks for SC, ST and OBC in the aggregate.

Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing: 18 seats (UR-9, OBC-5, SC-3, ST-1)

Duration: One year

Qualification: ‘A’ Grade Certificate or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery

Experience: Two years experience as Staff Nurse

Entrance Examination Fee

The candidates appearing in the entrance examination of C.I.P., Ranchi for the courses have to deposit examination fee in the form of demand draft (non-refundable) depending on the below mentioned fee table before filling up the form in favour of “DIRECTOR, Central Institute of Psychiatry” payable at RANCHI. The candidate has to deposit the examination fee along with hard copy of application form submitted on the Internet and send it by Registered/Speed post or submitted personally in C.I.P., Ranchi by Dec 10, 2013. 

The applicant shall be declared ineligible, if not, accompanied Demand Draft as examination fee and requisite documents.
