National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD) is an Indian institute for research in rural development, located in Rajendranagar near Hyderabad.  Its mission is to develop a committed cadre of rural development professionals trained to deal with the challenges in rural areas.It is an autonomous organization under Department of Rural Development, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.


NIRDPR announces two-year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Rural Management (PGDM-RM), 2021-23 (Batch-4) and one-year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development Management (PGDRDM) 2021-22 (Batch-19) with an objective of creating a committed and competent cadre of rural development professionals in the country. These programmes aim to impart skills on development aspects and techniques on management needs that will enhance the conceptual and practical knowledge about rural development. In view of the growing demand, the students of previous batches have been successfully placed in Government, Quasi-Govt., Rural Development and Civil Society Organisations in the country.


NIRD offers one year Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development Management (PGDRDM) and two year Post Graduate Diploma in Management  - Rural Management  (PGDM-RM) courses.


ELIGIBILITY: For PGDM-RM, Batch-4 

*Minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST and PWD candidates) or equivalent in Graduation.

*Selection will be based on valid score in CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT/GMAT for 2021 admissions.

*Students who are in the final year and expect to complete all the requirements to clear final year degree examination in 2020-21 may also apply.


For PGDRDM - Batch-19

*Minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST and PWD candidates) or equivalent in Graduation.

*Selection of short listed candidates will be on marks obtained in degree and online/off-line interviews.

*Students who are in the final year and expect to complete all the requirements to clear final year degree examination in 2020-21 may also apply.


SELECTION PROCESS: 

*Eligible candidates need to apply only through online mode. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview for selection.


HOW TO APPLY: 

*Applications are to be submitted by online mode only at www.nirdpr.org.in/pgdrdm.aspx. Physical application shall not be accepted.  http://admissions.nirdpr.org.in

*Before applying, the candidates must have the following in hand: For PGDM-RM valid Score, Registration/Application Number of any one of the Management Admissions Tests (CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT/GMAT)

*Valid and active personal email-Id, valid mobile number should be given for verification and future correspondence.


Application fee of Rs.400/- for general and OBC, and Rs.200/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates is to be paid through online payment gateway while filling the application form.


Last date for online submission is 20-05-2021. 

Applications received after the last date shall not be accepted.

NIRDPR reserves the right to make changes to the Diploma Programme, its design/content and the process of selection, depending upon the exigencies without assigning any reasons whatsoever.

CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021: BIG update students must know

The Board exams for classes 10 and 12 have been cancelled and postponed, respectively by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) amid the massive surge in the COVID-19 caseload in the country. The exams were scheduled to be held from May 4 till June 14. The decision regarding the cancellation and postponement of the CBSE exams 2021 came after Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a high-level meeting with Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' and other concerned officials.  As the Board announced this decision, it also left students with some questions. CBSE class 10 students want to know how they will be promoted and what evaluation criteria will be laid down by the board to allot them marks.

For CBSE class 10 students:

The Union Education Minister said that they will be promoted based on internal assessment.  Pokhriyal said CBSE class 10 students will be promoted on the basis of an objective criterion to be developed by CBSE. "Any candidate who is not satisfied with the marks allocated to him/her on this basis will be given an opportunity to sit in an exam as and when the conditions are conducive to hold the exams," tweeted the education minister. 

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said fresh dates will be announced after June 1, following a review of the COVID-19 situation. A notice of at least 15 days will be given to the students before the start of the examinations so that there is no inconvenience to the students, 

Fresh guidelines are awaited to be released by the CBSE on the internal assessment of Class 10 and 12. For the time being, CBSE Board Exam 2021, practical examination, project and internal assessment is scheduled to be held between March 1 to June 11, 2021.

IAF Group C Recruitment 2021: Apply for 1500 Vacancies, Salary up to Rs 38,000

Indian Air Force (IAF) has invited applications for the recruitment of Group ‘C’ Civilian posts at its various stations and units. The application process commenced on its official website 

 *www.indianairforce.nic.in* 
on April 3. 

Applications will be accepted within 30 days from the date of the publication of the advertisement. Over 1500 vacancies for various posts in the 
Western Air Command Unit, Southern Air Command Unit, Eastern Air Command Units, Central Air Command Units, Maintenance Command Units, Training Command Unit has been announced for this recruitment drive.

All the eligible applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of a written exam followed by a skill/physical/practical test. The written test will comprise questions from general intelligence and reasoning, numerical aptitude, general English, and general awareness.

*Eligibility criteria* 

Age Limit: Candidates apply for any of the posts must have completed the age of 18 years and not exceed 25 years as on the last date of receipt of application. The age relaxation for the reserved category candidates will be given as per the prevalent Govt. Instructions.

 *Educational qualification:* Educational qualifications are different for each of the posts. aspirants can check the details in the official notification.

*Application process* 

The application form for IAF Group C Civilian recruitment 2021 is to be filled offline. it is attached with the advertisement itself which candidates need to take a print out and fill in the required details carefully. They will have to send the duly filled application form along with the self-attested copy of the required documents to the concerned Air Force Station. Students are instructed to clearly mention “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ——- AND CATEGORY——-” on the envelope. They must note that a separate application form has to be sent for each of the posts.

 *Pay Scale* 
The selected candidates will get paid between Level 1 to Level 5 of the 7th CPC as per their posts. They will get a monthly remuneration of Rs 23,553 to Rs 38,606 including TA, DA, HRA, and other allowances.

Common Entrance Test (CET-2021) and Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET)-2021

Applications are invited for the Common Entrance Test (CET-2021) and Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET)-2021 for admission into the following institutes' courses. 



The CET-2021 for Admission at Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation (SVNISTAR), National Institute for Locomotor Disabilities (DIVYANGJAN), KOLKATA (NILD) and National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD).

The CET 2021 is the entrance exam for admissions into three Bachelors degree namely 

BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy),

Eligibility:  Passed 10+2 or equivalent-recognized exam with subjects Physics (P), Chemistry (C), Biology (B) and English with a minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB when taken together.


The PGET-2021 for Admission at SVNIRTAR 

PGET-2021 for admission into following Post Graduate courses: 

1. Master of Physiotherapy (MPT)

2. Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) 

3. Master in Prosthetics and Orthotics (MPO) 


Eligibility: Degree in BPT/B.Sc. (PT) for MPT course, Degree in BOT/B.Sc. (OT) for MOT course and Degree in BPO/B. Sc. (P&O) for MPO course.


Both CET and PGET conducting authority is SVNIRTAR. 

Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research (SVNIRTAR) is an Autonomous body under Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DIVYANGJAN), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India. It provides total medical rehabilitation for the Persons with Locomotor Disabilities. CBSE Board #Exams News LIVE updates

After a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of Education has decided to postpone the class 12 exams and cancel the class 10 board exams. For CBSE class 12 boards, the situation will be reviewed on June 1 and revised dates will be announced thereafter.

For CBSE class 10 students, result will be prepared on the basis of an “objective criterion” to be developed by the Board. Any candidate who is not satisfied with the marks allocated to him/her on this basis will be given an opportunity to sit in an exam as and when the conditions are conducive to hold the exams. Last year too CBSE had devised a new scheme for class 10 students.
Earlier this week, the Ministry of Education and CBSE held a meeting amid the rising demand for cancellation on board exams. The meeting being held today will not only consider CBSE but might also bring a uniform policy or guidelines on board exams across states, as was being demanded by several state ministers.
