Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education with at least 55% Marks of University of Calicut and other Universities recognized by Calicut University. 5% relaxation in marks will be allowed in the case of SEBC candidates and minimum pass is required for SC / ST candidates.
Entrance Examination:
The Entrance Examination will be conducted at Calicut University Campus on 13.07.2013 (tentative). The examination will be of 1 hour duration and will have 100 objective type questions of 1 mark each. The question will be from the Syllabus of Calicut University BEd.

Candidates should take a printout of the online application after submission. The signed copy of the printout along with the original chalan receipt for having remitted the fee of Rs.300/- (Rupees Three hundred only) (for SC / ST - Rs.100/-only) to Calicut University Funds (no other mode of remittance is accepted) in Govt. Treasuries / Designated Branches of SBT / Janasevanakendra , attested copies of SSLC (to prove age), BEd Mark lists, BEd Provisional / Degree Certificates, Equivalency Certificate, Community / Non Creamy Layer / BPL (forward caste only), Disability Certificate, Service Certificate in Form – IV should reach the office of the Department of Education, Calicut University Campus, Calicut University (P.O), Malappuram District, Kerala, PIN -673635 before the last date notified by the Calicut University.

1. M.Sc./M. Biotechnology: The candidate must posses one of the following qualifications and have secured at least 60% marks for General/OBC candidates (55% marks in case of SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in the qualifying examination:
(a) MBBS/BDS (55% for Gen/OBC & 50% for SC/ST Categories)
(b) B.V.Sc.
(c) B. Pharmacy
(d) Bachelor of Physio-therapy (4½ year course)
(e) B.Sc. degree of minimum three years duration in any subject.
(The Candidate having degree other than above is not eligible)

3. M.Sc. Nursing
(i) B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing /B.Sc. Nursing (Post - Certificate)/Post - Basic /B Sc. Nursing (4years) course from any recognised University, from an educational institution Recognised by the Indian Nursing Council, with 60% marks for Gen/OBC candidates (55% marks in case of SC/ST candidates).
(ii) Registration as Nurse, RN, RM (Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife) with any State Nursing Council.
(i) B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing /B.Sc. Nursing (Post - Certificate)/Post - Basic /B Sc. Nursing (4years) course from any recognised University, from an educational institution Recognised by the Indian Nursing Council, with 60% marks for Gen/OBC candidates (55% marks in case of SC/ST candidates).

4 & 5 For B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing & B.Sc. (Hons) Para-Medical Courses:
A candidate is eligible to appear in Entrance Examination if he/she :
(i) Is an Indian citizen
(ii) Has attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission.
(iii) Has passed the 12th class under the 10+2 scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination or Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination from a recognised University/ Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidates for B.Sc. (Hons) Para - Medical Courses should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and either Biology or Mathematics.
(i) Is an Indian citizen

(ii) obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and be an "A" Grade Nurse, registered with State Nurses Registration Council. In case of male nurse, he should have obtained a certificate in General Nursing and, instead of training in Midwifery, training
in any two subjects out of the following ; (a) Venereal Disease Nursing, (b)Tuberculosis Nursing, (c) Ophthalmic Nursing, (d) Psychiatric Nursing, (e) Operation Theatre Techniques for a period of three months in each. He/She should be an "A' Grade Nurse registered with the State Nurses Registration Council.
(iii) Worked for a minimum period of three years as a Staff Nurse in a recognized hospital or as a Public Health Nurse, after obtaining the above mentioned certificate. The 3 years experience must be completed on or before the last date prescribed for submission of completed application
The candidate must have :
(i) Passed 12th class under 10+2 system of education or an equivalent examination from a recognised Board/University. (Those who have passed 10+1 on or before 1986 are also eligible.)

PROCEDURE TO APPLY: For Post-Graduate Courses, a candidate is allowed to submit separate application for M.Sc. and M. Biotechnology courses. For under graduate courses, Only one application is required to be submitted for admission to Para-Medical courses, which will be considered for admission to all the two Para-Medical courses viz. B.Sc.(Hons.) Ophthalmic Techniques and B.Sc. (Hons.) Medical Technology in Radiography. Applications are to be submitted ONLINE on AIIMS website www.aiimsexams.org on or before 25.04.2013.
Application Fee: General / OBC Category: Rs.1000/- (SC/ST Category: Rs. 800/-) + Transaction Charges as applicable. Payment is to be made through Credit / Debit Card or computer generated Challan Form in any branch of State Bank of India (S.B.I.).
Acknowledgement with regard to successful Online Registration will be forwarded to applicant email ID/ SMS. However, the status of Application / Admit Card will be available on AIIMS website www.aiims.ac.in and www.aiims.edu as well as www.aiimsexams.org on the dates as mentioned under.

More Test Centres for NATA in Kerala

More Test Centres have started functioning in Kerala for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) for admission to B Arch Course. The Test Center list for NATA 2013 is updated regularly at http://www.nata.in/public/testcenters.aspx New Test centers are added in to the list as and when they are activated as per schedules at the respective center. In general, most of the Colleges of Architecture approved by the Council of Architecture gets activated as a Test Center.
